Daily life
In these posts I will put some news about my daily life, not that it's so adventurous, but maybe interesting in the future to see what I've done with my life :D
Yesterday (Thursday) it rather normal day, I've worked, went to my parents to have dinner. Also my sister, brother-in-law and my nephew Milan were there. When I got home I was to tired to get behind my pc and chat with my friends. Went to bed rather early.
Tomorrow the Fast Forward Heineken Dance Parade will be in Rotterdam, for the 10th time. There will be 40 trucks with dance, trance, techno, drum & bass and eclectic. There will be national and international DJ's, like Benny Rodriques vs. Cleon Macnack, Erik E, Armin van Buuren and off couse Michel de Hey. So, I might go there to make again some nice pictures, and also feel the beat of the parade on the Erasmusbridge... that's an amazing feeling :)
On Wednesday it was finally possible to join the wednesday night skate. The week before it was raining, so it was cancelled, and the week before that one, it was just simply to hot :) It was cool to join this 16km skate trip through Rotterdam, on the normal roads (where normally the cars drive) with almost 10.000 participants! I went there this time with my sister, she went for the first time, brother in law, and the father of a friend. Also Karin, of AEGEE, found me in the crowd.
Saturday was also a nice day. After shopping in the center and picking up some new photo's, I had a dinner date with the president of AEGEE-Rotterdam. It was a nice meal, where we spoke about stuff of the association, both locally and European. And off course also about other stuff ;) After the meal we went to Pardoen for some nice drinks. When I got home, I made another arrangement for that evening, to meet Lara from Germany, whom I helped a bit with finding a room in Rotterdam. She will stay her from September till the end of February, she was here for the weekend with her boyfriend. Just the week before I got on a call from her on my mobile, she got my info from Olivier G.; that was a nice surprise. But if you're so long in an European Student Forum as me, that's something can happen. Together with two other AEGEE members we went that Saturdayevening for a drink at Concordia, a place where normally a lot of international students are, since the International Student Houses are right behind it, due to the fact that the study season hasn't started it was now quiet.
Till next time!
